guide to root and install twrp recovery on huawei Mate S.

hello guys.

in this post I will tell you how to root and install twrp on Huawei Mate S.

For the TWRP recovery and root procedures you will require a computer and your phone and its USB cable. On your Huawei Mate S you have to enable USB debugging to  gain developer options – tap several times on built number. from “menu – settings – developer options” and you also need to check the battery status – if the power left is lower than 50%, plug in the charger before proceeding.

The steps from below are currently compatible only with the CRR-L09 model of the Huawei Mate S  so, don’t use this  guide in any other model phone.

TWRP INSTALLATION::

On your computer install Android SDK –flash Android SDK on Windowsorset

2.On your phone access Developer Options and from there check the “OEM Unlock” option.

3.Download from here the TWRP Recovery file and save it on your computer(recommended on desktop).

4.Rename the recovery .img file into "mate-twrp.img.(remember the name as it has to be used in further steps).

5.Connect your Huawei Mate S with your computer by using the USB cable.

6.On the folder where you have placed the TWRP recovery file open a command prompt window: press and hold Shift keyboard key while right clicking on any blank space.

7.In the cmd window, first type: “adb reboot bootloader”. Now your smartphone will be automatically rebooted into fastboot mode.

8.Then type “fastboot devices”– if your phone IN NOT LISTED, RE-INSTALL THE USB DRIVERS BEFORE PROCEEDING FROM ABOVE STEPS.

9.Next, in the same cmd window, type: “fastboot flash recovery mates-twrp.img.

10.Wait while the flashing process is completed.

11.When done, unplug the USB cord and reboot your phone.

GAIN ROOT ACCESS.

1.Download the root exploit from this page and place it on your mates SD card. or download on PC and transfer through USB cable.

4.Turn off your device.

5.Enter recovery mode on your Huawei Mate S.

6.From recovery select Install and pick the root file.

7.Resume the flashing process.

8.When done, from main menu of recovery tap on “reboot system now”.

9.If a boot loop is issued, go back to recovery and select “wipe data factory reset” and“wipe cache partition”.

Hello guys.  So for installing these cars you need to download a few apps ; GTA IMG tool from playstore, download  here . zarchiver from playstore, download here . 1) open zarchiver and go to the folder android inside android you will see a folder named as obb open it  and then go into com.rockstargamesd.gtasa folder.  2) In side this folder you will see 2 files from those choose the second file.
